Ushta

I just learned this recipe from a fashionista friend of mine and I absolutely love it. With a little bit of tweaking, my Version of the arabic Ushta is super healthy, nutritional, delicious, and easy to make. Try it for yourself.

Dairy Free, Gluten free, Vegan

Ingredients:
1 cup unsweatened almond milk
4 slices gluten free whole grain toast
5 strawberries cut into slices
1/2 banana sliced
1 tbsp ground pistachio
1 tbsp honey

Directions:
1. In a medium size pan place the milk on medium heat till it gets warm
2. Cut the outer edges of the slices and throw the insides in the warm milk
3. Wait 2 min until the bread hearts soften then using a hand blender mix well
4. Place in a serving plate and refrigerate at least for two hours
5. Decorate with the strawberries and bananas and when ready to serve garnish with pistachio and honey. Serve cold
