Hot Chicks

This is a moroccan inspired dish. spicy, delicious, super healthy, and rich in antioxidant. Serve with a side of couscous or rice. I named it hot chicks because it will help you look lean, energetic, and radiant.

Ingredients:
1/2 organic chicken breast cut in small tenderloins
1 turnip (peeled and cut into 4 pieces
4 organic carrots cut in three parts
1 potato cut into 4-6 thick slices
4 zucchini cut in three pieces
1 large onion cut in 8 pieces
1 tbsp hot pepper paste (you can substitute for mild)
3 tbsp olive oil
1 cup cooked garbanzo beans
1 large tomato peeled
1tsp saffron leaves (optional)
1 tsp salt, 1 tsp black pepper, 1 tsp cumin, 1 tsp cardamon (ground), 1 tsp coriander

Directions:
1. in a medium size place the oil, the chicken, the spices, the onions, and sauté for 5 min
2. add the pepper paste and saute for another 5 min
3. add 2 cups water and the peeled tomato, cook on medium heat for 10 min or until tomato is soft
4. take the tomato out and using a fork puree it and put it back in the pot
5. add the potato and the carrots and cook till starting to get tender
6. add the zucchini and the chick peas and cook on low heat until zucchini start to get tender
serve hot
